Senses

Our Senses unit is newly revised. The new version has a number of additional resources including a CD with resources such as assessments, leveled readers, and directions for how to repack the kit.
Several videos are available on the ESP Website to assist teachers with this unit.

Teachers using the ESP Senses kit will find the assessments and leveled readers on additional Webpages. Access to these tools requires the password provided in your kit.

Visit the Five Senses page for some additional lesson ideas from "Integrating Mathematics, Science and Language," a site designed to help elementary school teachers increase achievement of Hispanic primary-grade children whose first language is not English. It offers useful resources for students regardless of their native language.Education World has a page with links for Ten Activities for Teaching the 5 Senses.

The BrainPOP Website has videos on the senses. Amazing Animal Senses tells about the abilities of some of the other animals on earth.

FindSounds.com is a search engine for sounds on the Internet.

The ESP has pages for seasonal senses activities:

Five Senses in Fall
Five Senses in Winter
Five Senses in Spring
Five Senses in Summer
