Professional Development

The Elementary Science Program knows the importance of providing teachers with the professional development they need to feel comfortable teaching science and using the science materials provided in our units. ESP provides numerous opportunities for teachers to be trained in the use of our units and/or the technology resources we provide. Our schedule of workshops comes out twice a year: Summer/Fall and Winter/Spring.

In addition, ESP does go to schools to conduct professional development workshops. If you are interested in having ESP come to your school to conduct a professional development session for staff on a specific unit or other science topic, please contact our Assistant Director, Mary Thomas, at (585) 617-2362.
